  Jazz Quartet at North City Bistro

  World traveling saxophonist David Layton lives his life by combining his 2 strongest passions: music and travel. This has brought many exquisite experiences: performing in a “Kuhhütte” (cow hut)  high up on a Swiss Alp. Also presenting his soulful saxophone music on a “Belle Epoque” steamship cruising on the Lake of Geneva, also with an international dance company all dressed up as dancing trees – at the renowned Rhythm Festival on Sado Island, Japan.

  This festive spirit for life and music will radiate this evening at the North City Bistro, where David Layton will be joined by some truly great local talent: Alex Chadsey on keyboards, Clipper Anderson on the bass and Mark Ivester on the drums. The musical styles will be varied: funky jazz, bossa nova and boogaloo to name a few. 

  Their music embodies a rhythmic groove with a soothing and seductive saxophone sound, designed masterfully with the sole intent to make you feel good!
