The United Notions is a Jazz Quartet specialized in performing soulful Funky Jazz
and smooth Bossa Novas.
Their Music embodies a rhythmic groove with a soothing and seductive saxophone sound, which entices the audience into a festive feeling. The professionalism and refined musicality of this ensemble is of impressively high caliber. Central in the band is the New York City
saxophonist David Layton, performing and teaching music extensively throughout the USA. His stage persona radiates of cosmopolitism, yet one can hear from his playful and melodious saxophone lines the New York influence. He studied with the great masters: Michael Brecker, Joe Lovano and David Liebman.

The Band is focused on creating an elegant swinging atmosphere, providing the appropriate musical “Touch” which makes your event a successful and memorable one. The musicians are adaptive to your specific needs. When you desire soft background music – smooth and cool Bossa Novas and soft Jazz Ballads shall be played. When you desire a higher energy festive atmosphere, the Band shall perform funky soulful jazz and fervent Latin music which
inspires the people to dance and celebrate.
